Core functions:
Real time water depth measurement: the most basic function to quickly obtain water depth data at the current location.
Underwater terrain mapping: By continuous measurement or scanning, draw the contour of the underwater terrain (such as steep slopes, deep pits, shallow waters, sandbars, reefs, sunken objects, etc.). Obstacle detection: Identify dangerous underwater obstacles such as sunken ships, boulders, trees, building debris, fishing nets, etc.
Bottom identification (some advanced models): By analyzing the characteristics of sound wave echoes, the type of underwater bottom material (such as silt, sand, rock, water grass, etc.) can be preliminarily determined, which has reference value for judging the sinking situation of personnel or vehicles and selecting anchoring points.
Search and positioning assistance: provides accurate underwater environment information for divers, underwater robots, or salvage equipment, narrows down the search range, and improves positioning efficiency.
