Firefighters engaged in forest and grassland firefighting operations are equipped with protective gear for emergency evacuation in the event of a sudden blaze and are unable to escape. This new generation of forest and grassland fire hoods (oxygen supply type) is a new product jointly launched with the Heilongjiang Forest Protection Institute. Compared to the previous generation of fire hoods, the hood uses a double-layer fabric structure, which effectively reduces external heat transfer to the interior and provides better thermal insulation.
The hood is equipped with a self-generated oxygen breathing component, which provides more than 30 minutes of internal circulation and comprehensive respiratory protection, avoiding the disadvantages of toxic and harmful gases from the environment entering the hood or the surrounding environment lacking oxygen due to a sudden fire.
The built-in ergonomic lightweight inflatable insulation frame prevents the heated cover from directly contacting the human body and causing burns. It provides more complete protection than European and American fire-proof covers, creating hope for protecting lives.
It has been included in the "Firefighting Products Catalogue (2025 Revised Edition)".
The outer layer of the fire shelter is made of a composite of aluminum foil and glass fiber fabric. The shelter can withstand 1100±1kw/m2 of radiant heat and can reflect more than 95% of heat radiation.
The bottom is designed with a fixing belt and a ring-shaped pad edge, which is convenient for users to hold it firmly, so that the forest and grassland fire shelter forms a relatively closed space, effectively blocking the convection of cold and hot air inside and outside, and avoiding the harm of smoke and high temperature radiation to the human body.
The oxygen supply component provides respiratory protection for not less than 30 minutes, with an oxygen content of ≥19.5%
