1. Purpose:
Cart type carbon dioxide fire extinguisher is filled with carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent (CO2), with a purity of ≥ 99.5%, non-toxic, odorless, and non-conductive, meeting the requirements of GB4396 'Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishing Agent'.
The fire extinguishing mechanism is physical fire extinguishing, which involves oxygen suffocation and partial cooling function. After spraying, the oxygen in the fire extinguishing area is diluted to a concentration that cannot sustain combustion, resulting in local suffocation. At the same time, carbon dioxide vaporizes and absorbs heat, cooling the fire extinguishing area. This product is suitable for extinguishing Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, methanol, etc; Initial fires such as Class E fires caused by the burning of charged objects are widely used in various places.
2. Installation and operation
Wheeled fire extinguishers should be placed on a clear and easily accessible flat surface, and should not be placed on steps. The fire extinguisher shall not slide on its own without external force.
When using, push the fire extinguisher to the scene, stand at a suitable upwind position, pull out the safety pin, remove the nozzle, extend the hose, align the horn with the root of the flame, turn the valve handwheel counterclockwise until it is fully opened, and sweep from near to far, left and right until the fire is extinguished. When extinguishing a Class B fire, it is not allowed to directly aim the spray at the liquid surface to prevent the impact force of the spray from splashing flammable liquid and expanding the fire.
3. Maintenance and upkeep
Do not collide with fire extinguishers during transportation and storage; It should be placed steadily in a clean and dry environment, pay attention to moisture prevention, and strictly prohibit direct sunlight exposure.
Regular inspection is required, using the weighing method to check the fire extinguisher. If the weight decreases by more than 10%, it should be refilled; Once used, even if the fire extinguishing agent does not spray much, it must be refilled; Fire extinguishers should undergo their first maintenance after 3 years of use, and must be repaired every 2 years thereafter. Before refilling, a water pressure test of 22.5MPa (25.5MPa for MTT/BE10 type) should be conducted, and only after passing the test can it continue to be used. After the experiment, it should be dried in a timely manner and the inner and outer surfaces should be inspected. If severe corrosion is found, it should not be used again.
Please read the 'Maintenance Manual' for refilling the fire extinguisher.
4. Reminder
The product comes with a one-year warranty. If any leakage is found without any changes to the lead seal or other components, our company is responsible for repairing it.
Please read the 'Maintenance Manual' for the repair of fire extinguishers.
5. Warning
When using a fire extinguisher, safety precautions should be taken to avoid direct inhalation of carbon dioxide.
Only applicable for extinguishing live equipment with a voltage not exceeding 1000V at a distance of 1m.
